STORYTELLER
Jessica Robinson has an affinity with the storytelling process, in front and behind the camera, from pre-production to post. She is a Sydney/New York hybrid and has been honing her directing, writing and producing skills since high school with many projects under her belt, including three web series, over a dozen short films and several feature film scripts. She has been acquiring skills and experiences to diversify her knowledge through tertiary study and courses (New York Film Academy, University of Technology Sydney & National Institute of Dramatic Arts, Sydney); job experiences; and personal experiences, especially travelling.

Highlights of her career include working as a Director’s Assistant to Randall Einhorn on the new FX Television Pilot, ‘Death Pact’ starring Tracy Morgan. As well as working on the Production team for Ratpac (Brett Ratner & James Packer) for a casino commercial with Martin Scorsese, Robert Dinero, Leonardo Dicaprio and Brad Pitt. She also acquired her first feature film Assistant Director/Co-Producer credits for, Spanish Director, Dani Zarendieta's film MET in NYC, which has been accepted into 8 film festivals worldwide and counting. Her most exciting project ahead is Coaster Queen, a travel show dedicated to rollercoaster with Producer, Joseph E. Jones.
She has written, directed and produced three web series (PENT UP, TexSINS & Rebranding Andi), 16 short films and crewed on over 100 more projects and commercials during the past 6 years, declaring, "I live and breathe filmmaking! Storytelling and movie making are my passions and I want to ensure I continue to do this the rest of my life!" Her short film "Cookies" was selected to screen at the Washington DC Shorts Festival.
At University she majored in Management and Advertising - "I have always been fascinated by the influence achieved in such a condensed format of image and language." In her past jobs as an Optus Marketing Graduate and Hybrid TV/TiVo Marketing Executive, she has been involved with many project teams including: producing TV commercials, writing and creating advertising and sponsored content for So You Think You Can Dance and Hamish & Andy; event management for Cirque Du Soleil Dralion; and Pink’s Australian Funhouse Tour. She has worked with agencies such as M&C Saatchi, MPG, Jack Morton, Football Federation Australia & Waterfront.
She has a strong work ethic, is a self starter, and is always keen to take the initiative. Her keen interest in the wider marketing and media industry was recognised by B&T Magazine who interviewed her for an article about under 25s working in the media industry. She injects innovative thinking to all tasks and infectiously inspires a team in either a leadership or support role.
